Plan to bring a basic tool kit unless the instructor has specified tools and supplies in the workshop description. Registration deadlines vary, so register as soon as you know which class you want to attend. A few instructors will take walk-ins if they have sufficient supplies, but it cannot be guaranteed. Please pay attention to skill level required, and the sack lunch recommendation for the longer classes.


Class #1 - Bob Ross Paint Along - Seascape by Christine Hannon

Enjoy a beginner step-by-step paint a-long, creating a framed 2.5"x3" Bob Ross style “Seascape” painting. We will use Bob Ross’ color palette and techniques, including palette knife painting. You will be taught color mixing, working with acrylic glaze to extend drying time, brushwork and painting composition. The class will be taught by Christine Hannon, IGMA Fellow, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

Tools/Supplies needed: Instructor will provide paint, brushes, templates, frame, spray bottle, worksheet and painting board. Bring magnifier and LED work light if needed.

Join June Clinkscales in creating an 8.25" x 7.5" French panel, perfect for giving you dollhouse room that extra “Ooh la la!” In this workshop you’ll uncover the mysteries of faux wood paneling, master the art of gold leafing, and sprinkle some Giclee magic to turn any print into a masterpiece.

Tools/Supplies needed: Everything will be provided to finish your kit. Students will need craft scissors and tweezers.


Class #4 - A 1/144 Scale Baby House by Volker Arnold

If you like to build tiny things, then you will love building this 1/144th scale Baby House with a removable front magnetic closure. You will learn to assemble this laser cut wooden kit and use self-adhesive wallpaper. You will decorate the removable front, and assemble the upper room furniture with Volker Arnold’s guidance. All furniture for the lower room will be provided fully assembled. Finally, the room will be decorated with pictures and music instruments. Everything needed to build the kit is supplied

Tools/Supplies needed: Students need to bring a self-heeling cutting matt, and fine tweezers.


Class #5 - Bewitching Witch’s Cabinet with Real Bones! by Whitney LaBrie

Step into the shadow and unlock the secrets of a miniature Witch’s apothecary in this delightful spooky hands-on class with Whitney LaBrie. Participants will learn to assemble a witch’s spell cabinet, complete with tiny bottles; mystical ingredients and will feature REAL BONES that you will dissect from owl pellets.

Whitney will guide you step by step through the process of arranging, assembling and styling your cabinet so it looks as though it belongs in the hidden corners of centuries-old witch’s cottage. Students will learn how to dissect bones from owl pellets.

Tools/Supplies needed: Students should bring a basic tool kit, paint of choice for cabinet, paint brushes, and scissors.


Class #6 - Anne Victorian OR Haunted Q. Anne Pocket Watch by Ginger Landon-Siegel

Enjoy a fun morning creating either the elegant Queen Anne Victorian Bed and Breakfast with guest in the foreground or the haunted version of the Queen Anne Victorian in a 2” pocket watch. Ginger Landon-Siegel will teach you dimensional cutting, layering and shaping paper techniques that you can use in other projects. Everything needed to complete the project is supplied


Class #7 - Floor Hutch Italian “Pottery” or Blue & White “China” by Ginger Landon-Siegel

Join us to create your choice of hutch perfect for your dollhouse or roombox setting. You will build your hutch from a pre-stain wood or painted wood to expedite the construction process. Ginger Landon-Siegel will teach you how to style your hutch with Italian “Pottery” or Blue and White “China”. Everything needed to finish kit is supplied.

Tools/Supplies needed: A basic tools kit.


Class #8 - Art Deco Vanity Table by Arjen Spinhoven, Netherlands

In this workshop students will build a 1/12 scale Art Deco vanity table inspired by an original French design from the mid-20th century. This piece features a mirror surrounding the upper section and stands gracefully on refined slender legs. Arjen Spinhoven will guide you in carefully assembling his kit using his gluing and painting techniques to give you a wooden finish to MDF board. (Accessories not Included)

Tools/Supplies needed: Basic tool kit, self-healing cutting mat, X-Acto knife, tweezers


Class #9 - Leaded Stained Glass-Style Miniature by Rafa Acevedo

In this workshop you will learn the art of creating a miniature stained-glass style panel. You will receive a 2"x 5" plexiglass panel, its base and the tools needed to create this project. The class will cover essential techniques, including lead tape cutting, lead application, and basic glazing methods.

Tools/Supplies needed: Students may bring their favorite tweezers, utility knife and cutting mat.


Class #10 - Wonderful Alice! by Cathy Skeris

Would you like to learn the wonderful art of doll making. Come and join Cathy Skeris as she shows you how to make a wire armature for a poseable doll. You will be making a 4" porcelain Alice doll using vintage dress gowns for her dress, old vintage leather gloves for her shoes, natural fibers for her hair. (Couch is not included)

Class includes a porcelain doll, all fabric, lace, leather, fiber for hair, and a small book to read.

Tools/supplies needed: PStudents should bring a basic tool kit, tacky glue, fine needle, blue and white thread, small sharp scissors, (straight and curved), and a mini clover iron if you have one.


Class #11 - Spooky Halloween Decor by Karen Aird

Do you want some fun and spooky décor for Halloween? You will be making a melted witch, a Halloween punch with ghosts, a table with filled test tubes and potion bottles, and a skeleton in a bathtub holding a toaster using and having fun with resin.

Tools/supplies needed: Favorite pair of pointed tweezers.


Class #12 - A Rustic Can Planter with Pansy Flowers by Betinha Murta

Do you want to learn more about working with cold porcelain and air-dry clay. You can join Betinha Murta for a fun afternoon as she shows you how to make a rustic can planter filled with pansy flowers! Included are cold porcelain, paper flowers, fake grass and labels

Tools/supplies needed: Small scissors, tweezers, white glue, silver acrylic metallic paint, and basic tools kit.


Class #13 - Tulip Flowers 1:48 Scale by Ruth Stewart

Join Ruth Stewart for a fun morning of learning how to make 1:48 tulip flowers from a mold. She will walk you step by step on how to mix colors into UV resin and to use it in your mold. You will come away from the class with tiny little vases filled with flowers! Includes all the supplies to make the flowers including the UV resin.

Tools/supplies needed: Students will need to bring tweezers, X-Acto blade, UV flashlight, a couple of paint brushes, and a basic tool kit if they want.


Class #14 - A Haberdashery Hutch by Veronica Norris, UK

  • Cost: $185
  • Class Duration: 9:00pm to 2:00pm

In this fun class you will be constructing a 1/12 scale Haberdashery Hutch complete will all the sewing bits. You will stain/paint, and build your hutch then decorate it with all the accessories you make. You will learn tips and techniques to make it your own! (Some accessories may differ)

All the items to complete the shelves (if you don’t want to make it all or want to change any bits, there will be pre-made accessories for you to use. All paints, stains, and tools will be provided

Tools/supplies needed: Your favorite tweezers and LED lighting if you need.
