Christmas is coming…start preparing for the festive season with making a Santa’s sleigh. The sleigh will be available in your choice of 1:48, 1:24, & 1:12 scale. Ideal for a tree or table decoration. You will learn to assemble the kit, paint using a “shabby chic” technique, wrap miniature parcels, create a stocking, and put the festive scene together using artificial snow, snowballs and tree onto a base.
Tools/Supplies needed: Everything will be provided, but students are welcome to bring along their own tools, brushes, lighting etc.

In this immersive workshop, you will craft a richly detailed vignette featuring ornate paneling, gilded accents, and delicate furnishings, all scaled to perfection. Guided by expert instruction from June Clickscales, you’ll learn techniques in faux finish marbling and refined embellishments. The Vignette features a room complete with all the furnishings shown: a rococo console, a mirror, and wall sconces. This is perfect for seasoned miniaturists and passionate newcomers. A lighting kit available to purchase for students who wish to enhance their vignette with light.
Tools/Supplies needed: If students would like to bring a Dremel, and a selection of paint brushes, they are welcome to do so. However, these materials will be provided as well.

Let’s dive into the wonderful world of petit point in miniature and understand the difference between needlepoint and petit point. Learn everything you need to know about and how to use silk gauze, frames, what thread and needle to use. Also, the advantages and disadvantages of using different stitches on silk gauze. You will practice petit point and needlepoint stitches while working on this miniature pillow. We will also discuss finishing techniques.

Enjoy a fun morning creating either the glittery Snowman’s Cottage or the eerie Haunted Mansion with a bat-filled sky. Each of these tiny dimensional scenes is created by cutting, shaping, and layering 5 prints . Each scene is ¾” deep and is placed in a 2x3” frame. The cottage prints will be embellished with snow type glitter, floral bits, and greenery. The Haunted Mansion will be embellished with aged laces, dried greenery, tombstones, and bats.

Come and enjoy a fun afternoon and learn a simple technique to create these wonderful pieces using a childhood craft favorite. You may remember creating key chains and ornaments using shrink plastic. Well, this technique can also be adapted to create chandeliers, lamp shades, and bowls in smaller cales. In addition, you will learn how to create and attach various types of fringe, or beads to enhance you pieces.

Come and make this 1:12 scale “atomic space sage” cabinet with a hidden secret inside! When the cabinet is closed, it looks just like a regular cabinet. However, only if you know, if you push the interior around the secret bar will appear. By sanding, painting and gluing you will turn this kit into a little gem. You will learn to use acrylic paint and acrylic gel medium technique to make convincing woodgrain on plain mdf material. (The bottles and glasses are not included.)

Come personalize your wine tasting table, and decorate it with wine, cheese, champagne, and flowers! The table and wine boxes will be customized with your last name for the vineyard as well as a charcuterie board as a gift from Karen Aird. Wine and champagne will be made with resin. Cheese, crackers, cherries, lemon and lime curls will be made with Fimo. The barrels are wooden and pre-stained, ready to decorate.
Everything will be provided, including a personalized tabletop and 3 wine boxes, platters, wine barrels, mason jar, wine bottles, food not made in class, flowers and additional glasses.
Additional wine boxes, grapes, glasses and bottles avalable for purchase. If students want more than 3 personalized wine boxes and tabletop, they may be ordered ahead of time. $8 each per box and $15 per tabletop
Tools/supplies needed: Please bring your favorite pair of tweezers, small paint brush, and a container to hold your finished piece. Additional lighting if needed.

Come construct and install the electrical system in a small box. Then you will attach a 7.5 cm (3”) arch, five 1/1000 scale houses, and watch them all light up! The electrical components will be soldered beforehand, so you will only need to install them in the box.

Mini by Bleau’s Custom will be teaching a class about miniature hinges and creating a gorgeous little three-piece room divider. You will be able to display it in your miniature living space, miniature scene, or even your trinket shelf. Some of these pieces have history behind them that are interesting, and fun facts on how they came to be. Join us in making these with 4 different patterns to choose from. We look forward to meeting you and teaching you something fun!
Everything will be included. The kit includes one choice of four different types of screens, hinges, fasteners, and paint.

You will be making a beautiful gingerbread house with a chocolate roof and decorated with Christmas goodies!
Cold porcelain, decorations, chocolate mold, and house kit will be provided.

Come learn a brand-new technique on how to make marble and natural rock looking fancy charcuterie boards and dessert platters. This class will teach you start to finish on how to make these beautiful platters. You will get all the metal cutters, clay, a bottle of UV resin, flexible poly blade, supplies and charcuterie handles to apply to your 10 sets. These techniques could be used to make dishes and pottery as well. You can apply this knowledge in any scale. The metal cutters that come with the class are 1:12 scale but can be adapted for smaller scales.
Tools/supplies needed: Students need to bring X-Acto blade and tweezers.
