Plan to bring a basic tool kit unless the instructor has specified tools and supplies in the workshop description. Registration deadlines vary, so register as soon as you know which class you want to attend. A few instructors will take walk-ins if they have sufficient supplies, but it cannot be guaranteed. Please pay attention to skill level required, and the sack lunch recommendation for the longer classes.


Class #1 - Art Nouveau Secretaire by Arjen Spinhoven, Netherlands
  • Scale: 1:12th scale
  • Skill Level: All skill levels.

You will build a 1:12 scale miniature French Art Nouveau secretaire. The Art Nouveau secretaire is based on a design by Emile Galle in 1903. The secretaire is elaborately decorated with umbels. Both drawers’ doors can be opened that will allow you to display all your miniature stationery supplies you might have. The kit, paint, glue, paintbrush, and sanding paper will be provided.

Students will learn how to convert MDF (pressed wood fiber) to a convincing wood grain look with a combination of acrylic paint and medium gel. Students will build, paint, sand, and glue this 1:12 kit, and at the end of the day it will be finished.

Tools/Supplies needed: A basic tool kit, small cutting mat, and a box to transport the finished piece.


Class #2 - Retro TV Roombox by Angela Kinnunen, Finland
  • Scale: 1:48th, Quarter scale

This quarter scale Retro TV Roombox will be sure to bring back very fond memories. Learn to build this retro tv roombox, and you have two themes to choose from to decorate the inside. What will your tv be showing? Will it be Alice in Wonderland or Enchanted Forest?

Tv Shadow Box kit, paper for wallpapering, and kits to go inside are all provided. Students will choose between to themes. The themes are Alice in Wonderland or Enchanted Forest.

Tools/Supplies needed: Basic tool kit, PVA/White Glue/Tacky Glue.


Class #3 - Sold Out
Magical Halloween Sideboard by Michael Robbins, UK

In this class you will learn how to sculpt in polymer clay, creating Michael R’s signature character pumpkins. Also, an array of Halloween candy and extra seasonal accessories. Once sculpted, you will bake, paint, and decorate them. Finally, all sculpted pieces will be assembled onto a sideboard that you will decorate for that extra magical touch.

Students will learn polymer clay sculpting, clay finishing techniques, decorating techniques. All materials needed for the class will be provided, including a painted wooden sideboard, all the polymer clay for sculpting, paints, fabrics, adhesives and papers. Simple clay tools will also be provided.

Tools/Supplies needed: Students should bring a pair of scissors, extra lighting or magnification if needed. Instructor will provide a gift bag for transit but students are welcomed to bring a box to carry project home.


Class #4 - The Solarium Abeille House by Sherry Taylor

Join the enchantment of creating the perfect afternoon setting. Abeille house is a light and airy solarium with an elegant charm. We will be building and finishing a charming solarium and all its interior décor. This will include two chairs, table with tray, side table, flowerpot, candelabra, window frame and a storage box with flowers.

Students will learn how to build and finish a conservatory project and all its accessories. All the materials needed to finish the kits will be provided.

Tools/Supplies needed: Basic tools kit.


Class #5 - Empire Pampered Pet Bed by June Clinkscales

Students will learn to create a stunning Empire style bed for their miniature pampered pets. Learn gold leafing and fabric draping techniques, and how to dress a unique pet bed. All materials and tools to finish the project will be provided.

Tools to bring: Sharp fabric scissors, tweezers, pretty pleater (if you have one), a blow dryer if possible.


Class #6 - Kneeling Geisha by Tish Tierney
  • Scale: 1:12th scale

In this class you will learn to dress and wig a beautiful Geisha wearing a colorful kimono in a kneeling position. You will get to choose from many kimono fabrics to dress your beautiful porcelain doll.

Included is a doll kit, fabric, and wigging material. The students will have a choice of Kimona fabric.

Tools/Supplies needed: Sharp fabric and paper scissors, straight pins, needle, and Aleene’s original tacky glue in gold bottle.


Class #7 - “China” Filled Tea Shelf by Ginger Landon-Siegel
  • Scale: 1:12th scale
  • Skill Level: All skill levels.
  • Cost: $84

Create this unique Tea shelf filled with the “China” of your choice. You will learn techniques to give the look of wood paneling for the back of the shelf, then building the shelf using wood turnings. The glazed paper will be edged with dimensional paints to enhance the illusion of real China. You get six choices: Shabby Chic, Traditional Blue & White, Lilac Floral, Sunflower Delight, Vintage or Holiday Assortment.

Tools/Supplies needed: Students will need curved manicure size scissors, cutting mat, tweezers, tacky glue, wood glue, fabric scissors, Emery board, medium and small paint brushes, and Legos to support wood while drying.


Class #8 - Bowls, Shades, and Plates by Ginger Landon-Siegel

This fun and relaxing class will share a simple technique using a process many of us remember from our childhood. You will learn how to create faux stained glass colorful bowls, plates, shades using shrink plastic! You will learn about different shrink art products, preparation, coloring choices, shaping tools and unique heating process to create pieces for 1” miniature scenes.

Students will learn how to use different shrink plastic products. They will create 6-8 pieces using colored pencils and assortment of shaping tools and pieces to create your lamp bases. A special heat tool, specialty scissors, and 2 shaping tools will be provided to use during class. Students will receive shaping tools, colored pencils, pre-sanded plastic sheets, sharpener, lamp and shelf pieces.

Tools/Supplies needed: Students need to bring curved scissors and extra colored pencils.


Class #9 - The Cuckoo House by Alison & Mike Thomas, UK

Learn to assemble, paint, and accessorize the quarter inch Cuckoo House kit by Seaside Miniatures. The beautiful quaint Cuckoo House is ideal for a Winter or Christmas display piece that could be hung on a wall or placed on a mantel piece.

Students will learn to assemble, paint, and decorate the quarter inch cuckoo house kit. The cuckoo house kit, accessories, tools etc. will be provided to complete the project.


Class #10 - Victorian 2” Doll by Cathy Skeris
  • Scale: 1:12th scale
  • Skill Level: Intermediate
  • Cost: $135
  • Class Duration: 8:00am to 3:00pm

Learn to dress and wig a 2” doll. You will also be making her leather shoes, and a dress from multiple fabric choices. You will also get to choose her face, hair color, and style. The doll could be 1/24 scale girl or a doll for a 1/12 scale room.

Students will learn to costume a 2” doll. They will learn to make clothing from many different choices of fabrics. They will learn to make leather shoes, and how to wig a doll. All materials to finish the doll will be provided. Tools will be shared for those who forget.

Tools/supplies needed: Students may bring a needle, thread, small sharp scissors, tacky glue, lighting, and magnifiers if needed.


Class #11 - Wilhelmina Pop-Up Book by Tine Krijnen, Netherlands
  • Scale: 1:12th scale

Learn to make a replica of a lovely pop-up book published in 1898 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Wilhelmina with four full color double illustrations which pop-up. Students will learn how to work with a triangle ruler, sewing the pamphlet stitch, aging the cutting edges of the paper, and you will go home with knowledge and a true treasure.

Students will learn to use a triangle ruler, cutting bookblock, sewing pamphlet stitch, and aging paper. Everything to finish the project will be provided.

Tools/supplies needed: Students need to bring a cutting mat, X-Acto blade with new blade plus extra blades or a brake-off blade knife.


Class #12 - UV Resin Ready Mold Class by Ruth Stewart

Come and have a morning of fun learning all the tricks and tips of UV Resin! If you already have some of the UV molds that come with the class, you can easily choose different ones!

Tools/supplies needed: Students only need to bring tweezers and a UV Flashlight if they already have one.
