Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination and Photo ID as well as masks required.
To create the safest possible environment for our 45th Good Sam Showcase of Miniatures, all dealers and their helpers, the Good Sam Show volunteer staff and our public patrons will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination for entry to the show foyer and the showroom floor. A photo ID matching the name on the proof of vaccination will also be required. Vaccinated adolescents age 12 to 17 are welcome. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children under 12 this year.
What do we mean by proof of vaccination? Any of the following:
The County of Santa Clara continues to have a Universal Indoor Face Covering Order in place. It requires the wearing of a well-fitting mask in all indoor public spaces regardless of vaccination status. We will require face masks in the foyer and showroom. The Doubletree Hotel will require face masks in all public spaces of the hotel. Click >HERE< for more information on the Santa Clara County Universal Indoor Face Covering order.
As you may know, San Francisco now requires proof of vaccination for restaurants, theaters, bars and indoor large gatherings. They City of San Jose is requiring proof of vaccination for events held at any city owned property. As of September 20, the State of California will require proof of vaccination for events of 1000 people or more. We feel that taking this additional precaution provides the opportunity to offer the safest environment for you and our show patrons.
